The work of the painter Ernest Hébert is presented in an attractive atmosphere. The museum itself is a rare example of a artisthouse that the complex and subtle mind of the 19th century artists displays. The museum is filled with fine works of Italian still lifes and landscapes. Since 2004 the Musée Hébert is attached to the public institution of the Musée d'Orsay.
