In autumn 2009, the Kröller-Müller Museum will present an exhibition of work by the Dutch artist Christiaan Bastiaans (Amsterdam, b. 1951).

The exhibition will be designed by the artist himself as a single, unified installation entitled Club Mama Gemütlich, based on a combination of a ‘field hospital, missionary post, and nightclub', an improvised refuge in the no-man’s-land of a conflict zone.
