Notes: The altarpiece is complete and was dedicated to Saint John the Evangelist. It came from the Camaldolese Nunnery of San Giovanni in Pratovecchio, Italy.
In the pinnacles are the Archangel Gabriel, the Trinity and the Virgin Annunciate. On the left panel are Saints Bernard, Scholastica, Benedict, John the Baptist and Saint Michael in the medallion. The main panel shows Christ lifting Saint John into Heaven and above, the Descent into Hell. Depicted on the right panel are Saints Peter, Romuald, Catherine of Alexandria and Jerome (?),
