About the artist:
Painter, draughtsman, graphic of interiors, harbors, seascapes, portraits, nudes, children, beach scenes, landscapes, stations, cityscapes, still lifes in the Post Impressionist, Ecole de Paris and Flemish Expressionist style. Training at the academy of Sint-Joost-ten-Node led by Ottevaere and two years sculpture at the academy of Sint-Gillis. The main concern in his work was always light. Worked in thick paint, powerful and colorful, with a particular focus on the atmosphere and light. Works in museum: Brussel, Antwerpen, Elsene, Oostende, Brugge, Luik.
