About the artist:
Matthias Weischer studied painting from 1995-2001 and received his MA in 2003 from Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig.
He has shown work in a number of exhibitions such as at the Venice Biennale, the Cleveland Museum of Art and Kunstverein Nurnburg. He has also exhibited at galleries and museums including ARARIO in Chungnam, Korea, Anthony Wilkinson Gallery in London and the Rubell Family Collection in Miami.
