I was born in Budapest, in 1946. I have also finished my schools here. I graduated from the Trade School of Commerce and from the Polytechnic of Economics, Faculty of Commerce. I worked at the art supply shop of Képcsarnok Co. in Budapest. I have been painting with oil since the age of 12.

From 1960, I attended the drawing and painting workshops of Emil Vén, Kossuth Prize Laureate painter. I regard him as my mentor and master, he taught me the love of colours, the knowledge and management of materials. During my apprenticeship at the art supply shop, I also executed home deliveries, so I could peek into the studios of many fellow artists, and I could learn a bit from everyone.

Within Képcsarnok Co., I worked for the ARTEX group, and I executed their purchase orders. This way most of my artwork ended up in Western countries, even in Canada.

From 1989 I ceased to receive orders, from that time on I sell my pictures myself. Amongst my customers, there were several enterpreneurs, lawyers and doctors. I also painted large murals, which can be seen in Keszthely, at the Panopticum. Many of my pictures can be found in Pápa, in the rooms, restaurant and salon of Hotel „Villa Classica” and in the rooms of Gróf Panzió and Beer-house as well.

My recent works were exhibited in Érd, at Festal Restaurant and Hennessy Club, where they can also be purchased. I have had several exhibitions: In GyÅ‘r, Csorna, Pápa, Ajka, Veszprém, Békés county and at the cultural centres of many villages.

I am now retired. Unfortunately I suffer from a serious disease, but I did not give up painting as a passion, and I don’t even intend to. Continuous vendition is necessary for keeping up my work, thus I undertake to implement orders and to make reproductions of the authorized pictures of artists from Hungary and abroad, either on wood or canvas. My siblings support my activities, to whom I must say thanks in every way. My favorite subjects are landscapes, city scenes, still life and hunting scenes. Currently I live and work in Érd.
