She exhibits in leading contemporary fine art galleries in San Francisco, Sonoma, Palm Desert, Seattle, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Her sculpture can be found in national museums, as well as public and private collections internationally.

"I have chosen, as the subject for this series, a young woman who has shared my island community and thus, indirectly, been part of my physical, daily circumstances for 17 years. By using only one person as the subject, I provide the viewer with an uncluttered reflection of self through another. The sculptures are direct and engaging, life size, a measure of our humanity. The response to each work will be as varied as our own individuality." - Kathy Venter
