About the artist:
He was born in 1959, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. He graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, Chongqing in 1986. From 1996 till 1997 he went for a working visit to Worpswede Studio Centre in Germany by DAAD Scholarship. In 1998 he worked in the Vermont Studio Center in USA. From 1997 till 2000 he was studying by Proft. Klapheck and Prof. Immendorff at the Academy of Fine Arts in Duesseldorf. He lives and works in Duesseldorf and Beijing.
