About the artist:
Hungarian painter and lithograph artist. He studied in Vienna, and worked in Vienna and Versec. On orders of Austrian and Hungarian aristocracy, he produced water colour miniatures, portrait lithographs in the style of Vienna portrait painting. He was engaged in experiments with copper engravings ("Street Sweeper"). He was the master of Károly Brocky in Versec.
