I was born in Vác in Hungary. While still very young my family moved to Budapest – the Capital City of Hungary. I remained there until just past my 18th birthday when I moved overseas to Stockholm, where spent the next 10 years of my life.
From the very start of my time in Sweden I was struck by the beauty of the autumn landscape and its continuous parade of vibrant colors. I was also captivated by the exciting views of the Baltic Sea and the Swedish Archipelago. It was this beauty that first motivated me to take up painting and to capture this world of miracles in oil on canvas.
I had my first exhibition in 1985 in Stockholm followed 3 years later by another one in Budapest.
I have traveled quite extensively in recent years and have been further inspired by beautiful scenes in some of the remotest parts of the world. My goal is that those viewing my paintings will also be able to share in, and be touched by this beauty.
