David Leapman was born in London in 1959. He studied in London at St. Martin’s School of Art 1977-78, Goldsmiths College 1978-81 and Chelsea School of Art 1988-89.
Exhibitions include New Contemporaries ICA London (touring) 1989, Aperto 90 Venice Biennale 1990, XXXVIe Festival International de la Peinture (British Council) France 1995, The Saatchi Gift Talbot Rice Gallery Edinburgh 2002, World Gone Mad Herbert Read Gallery Canterbury (touring) 2006. Solo shows include Journeying in Search of Hidden Treasures Ikon Gallery Birmingham 1988, Precious Encounters Beaux Arts London 2002.
