About the artist:
He was initially influenced by József Rippl-Rónai's style and from 1918 onwards, he became a follower of various "isms" in his pursuit of new styles. His works represented the expressionistic - symbolic style. As a warning example, a picture of Kádár's featured on the catalogue of the exhibition "Entarte Kunst" organized by nazis. His antinazi, dramatic realist pen-and-ink drawings were published in books in the postwar years. (Source: www.hung-art.hu)
