ART IN NATURE- DRAWINGS: CONSTABLE REVIEW::

I found this cool app(constable) which is useful for drawing students.

John Constable's works are very popular and highly sought after nowadays. During his time, he was never actually financially successful and he wasn't recognized until the age of 52. In fact, his works were even more popular in France more than his homeland which is England. What makes his works so popular nowadays? Well, one aspect would have to be the return to naturalism. When we are saturated with so much modernity, we want something a lot more refined and scenic. His works are impeccably naturalistic, utilizing different styles and methods to capture nature the way that it should be presented. If you want to return to those natural sensibilities in Art, you might want to check out this amazing app simply titled after his last name. Constable is a beautiful digital catalog of his works that focus mostly on landscapes. He painted portraits but landscape painting was his biggest passion. He would regularly paint the beautiful scenes around the Suffolk area where he was born.
I found this app at:

His drawings capture nature in different angles and points of view. This is why there is richness in his style and method. This app presents several works categorized by year. That's what makes it easier to see how his work matured and diversified. The images are high quality and you can zoom in on each of them or check the images as a slide show. This is a great art history supplement as well as a source of artistic inspiration for budding artists who wish to capture nature.
