Uploaded artworks: 4He was born in Oradea (Arad), Romania. From 1965 he attended the Graphics Faculty of Ion Andreescu Art College; he graduated from there in 1972. His graduation work were the illustrations to Kalevala made for Kriterion Publishing House – with this series he won 2nd award on the Graphics Salon in Bucharest. He settled in Sf. Gheorghe, where he was in charge of the Fine Arts Department of the County Museum. From 1979 he was the director of the Art Gallery, which was moved to a separate building. Additionally, he established a graphical workshop in the city. He expressed himself both in graphics and the expansion styles of the 70s and 80s: installation, action, theme analysing exhibitions (Drawing–Colour–Form, Bird, etc.). In 1981 he organized Medium1, the first contemporary national exhibition in Sf. Gheorghe. In 1990 he established the performance festival 'Annart'; in 1991 he was the host of Médium 2, which by then had become an international exhibition. In 1985 he received the Great Graphics Award; from 1987 to 1988 he worked in Finland with Kalevala fellowship; from 1990 he was a lecturer at Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest.
