Painter, draughtsman, watercolourist, etcher of children, nudes, cityscapes, religious compositions, working people, peasants in the Realistic and Symbolistic style. Training at the academy of Antwerpen led by Gogo, Creytens and Isidore Opsomer. Second for the Prix de Rome in 1940.
